От 23 до 25 февруари 2026 г. Факултетът по математика и информатика на Шуменския университет беше домакин на работна среща на екипа по проект „КП‑06‑Австрия/1, от 11 юли 2025 г.“ на тема „Статистически методи за моделиране на екстремални събития и откриване на аномалии“ - https://sites.google.com/shu.bg/statisticalmethodsformodelling.
Събитието събра преподаватели, изследователи и администрация, които участваха в интензивни дискусии и съвместна работа. В рамките на тридневната среща участниците представиха напредъка по отделните дейности, работиха по статия от работен пакет 1, обмениха добри практики и очертаха следващите стъпки за развитие на проекта.
Акцент беше поставен върху иновациите в моделирането на екстремалния индекс, внедряването на съвременни технологични решения в образованието и разширяването на международните партньорства. Събитието премина в конструктивна и вдъхновяваща атмосфера, а постигнатите резултати ще допринесат за по-ефективното изпълнение на проекта през следващите етапи.
ФМИ на ШУ продължава да бъде активен център за научни инициативи, сътрудничество и развитие на модерното образование.
From 23 to 25 February 2026, the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Shumen University hosted a working meeting of the team involved in project “KP‑06‑Austria/1, dated 11 July 2025” on the topic “Statistical Methods for Modelling Extremal Events and Anomaly Detection.” - https://sites.google.com/shu.bg/statisticalmethodsformodelling.
The event brought together faculty members, researchers, and administrative representatives who took part in intensive discussions and collaborative work. During the three‑day meeting, participants presented the progress of the individual project activities, worked on an article from Work Package 1, exchanged best practices, and outlined the next steps for the project’s development.
Special emphasis was placed on innovations in extremal index modeling, the integration of modern technological solutions in education, and the expansion of international partnerships. The event took place in a constructive and inspiring atmosphere, and the results achieved will contribute to the more effective implementation of the project in its upcoming stages.
